Extra, Extra, The soon to be opened NEW Iowa Fuel Testing Lab will have new SAF testing capabilitiesThe NEW Iowa Central Fuel Testing Laboratory in Fort Dodge, Iowa will soon be open this fall!
As an addition to the lab, we will purchase, install, and use 3 new testing engines manufactured by CFR Engines. This will include the CFR F5 Cetane rating unit and the CFR F1/F2 rating units for determining RON and MON octane values.
Additional testing equipment will also be added to allow us to perform the ASTM D1655 panel for jet fuels (see attached insert).
To go along with our expanded capabilities, we will be enhancing our accreditation to include ISO 17025 certification for our Jet/SAF testing program. We hope to install the engines in early to mid September 2024 and be operational in a month or so after that.
We can also provide contract testing services for specific needs companies like yours may need in a very short time frame.
In addition, the New Fuel Testing Lab will have expanded capabilities that will allow us to confidentially test Jet/SAF as an independent third-party laboratory to assure good fuel quality.
